The story is ok but I see a trend in many of your stories where the "offended party" manages to fall in love (or lust) the minute he or she meets a helping party. This is especially unbelievable if that person is serving in some sort of professional capacity. IMHO it speaks just as bad of the two as the cheating spouse.

What is it with "some" writers, that they think everyone falls in love upon seeing the their preceived "soul mate"? Or whom they believe to be their soul mate and jump right into bed...in real life, I don't think so....
