more conflicting emotions

Transforming Genevieve expresses her conflicting emotions in this chapter. Its brevity compared to the others is quite understandable in this context, but even though it is briefer, the pacing here is not rushed. Rather, the plot develops at a gentle and careful pace, which is what one comes to expect from this exceptionally fine author.
