No spoilers, but I doubt this is the kind of series that ends with them having a big fight and breaking up. We'll see how it goes ... hopefully it won't take me as long between sequels as it did this time!

I'm glad you think so! I was a little worried that the story had less of a twist at the end than the first one, but I hoped it made up for that by developing the characters further.

As per your suggestion I read the first story in this series as it was one of the few of yours I had never read. Moving on afterwards to this story I was struck by how much your writing talents have improved. This was a terrific story, although I get the sneaking suspicion that you wrote both stories just so that you could make that "Where no Wyn has gone before" joke lol,

Well, thinking back on it, I guess I've gotten in something like 200,000 words of additional practice since "Trini Plays a Trick" was written, so it's good to hear it's produced some results!

Believe it or not, that "Where no Wyn has gone before" line came to me after I'd already written Trini's "where are you going?" question. Sometimes they just jump out at me like that.

really like the way the story is going, the way they are bonding is very nice and it should be like that in real life.
