I don't care how 'well' something is written from a technical standpoint. If the content is tripe, it could be Shakespeare and I'd still hate it.

Too often the author ruins his own stories by not being descriptive enough when discussing the wife being used by the other man/men. Also the narrator/cuckold is far too self-absorbed in his telling of the tale.
