A thoroughly enjoyable read. You moved seamlessly between past and present while setting the tone, and capturing the emotion of these 2 people perfectly. You could use this story as a model in a writing clinic.

Very nice

We've all done things we've regretted. But true deep love isn't easy to find, so I'm glad Mike could see that the present and the future are more important than what happened before he even met her. It was short and sweet - loved it!

To all the authors I've stolen from - ya caught me red-handed - at least that's all I'll admit to having in my hand. None of these stories ever occurred - except between my ears, which I should probably go and clean now.
