I am in awe of your current effort. This has all the elements of a great story that should have a wider audiance than it will receive here. Thank you for tale well told thus far.

Anybody can answer and defend what is normal and what is not but laws are what we live by and in a real world not your fantasy one what is happening in your story would break quite a few of the laws whether in a family or in society. So if you put your story in the fantasy genre then it would be something i could except. As for saying to write a normal story that was a mistake because i do and did like some of your other stories.

I don't know what kind of stories you expect when you come to this site.

For me - unless explicitly described as true - I am prepared to read about all kinds of fantasies, be they of threesomes, young and old, incest or whatnot.

Many of these stories contain acts that somewhere are considered illegal.

I have yet to find anything I would deem illegal in THIS story.

Any longer stories are often labelled 'Novels and Novellas' here, without further tagging them in any other category.

If you want to read stories about the 'real world', you are definitely wrong here.

While the teaching methods might not be "normal' (whatever the hell that means) in current Western society, the methods were and are practiced all over the globe. I am not familiar with Shoshone practices, but throughout history their are examples of both the teaching of the young and the idea of the magic of being "linked". That being said, and the sexual side ignored for the moment, what I read is how a family has chosen to make certain that both male and female members understand their roles, how to uphold them and how to be people of honor in a world that has forgotten the power of family and what that means. Well done. OH and on a side note, I have yet to see any laws being broken. The young people are beyond the age of consent and their has been no sexual acts performed between direct family members. M
