I usually avoid vampire stories as a matter of course. It isn't that I dislike vampire tropes, just that I don't want to read poorly written twilight inspired fiction.

You have a way of putting an interesting twist on things. I began to suspect James was the virgin sacrifice partway through the first scene. I didn't expect her to be a vampire though, so you caught me by surprise there.
