I don't think physical, loving intimacy has been described better (at least that I have read) than in this chapter. Look, I am a guy, an older one, and I love this kind of writing. I love and respect women and I have had these feelings in both of my marriages. In the first one we lost it. I vowed never to have that happen again. I learned my lesson and the second is 37 years and growing better every month. But I have never had it described so well before such that I could relate with it.
