I think you had gold in your hands with the story but cornered yourself with the last two chapters. Still good but where do we go from here? Maybe it would be good to let Vanessa escape the stripclub, whore hereself (explaining the scene from chapter 1) to earn money and take a bus to...well somewhere where she could meet new people and you can develop a whole new storyline.
