must read tale. Rarely have I found such craft...
Thanks for your time and talent!
I can't believe I missed this the first go round, my goodness this is spicy! That "hung like Seabiscuit" bit had me cracking up 😂😂. Love how fleshed out these two are.
With such meticulous character development, you've began a story with a woman I've known and loved for thirty years. Although I haven't seen her in twenty, I still love her & her quirky ways. Dax is going to need his A game to snag Lou. Looking forward to next segment. Thank you.
This is intellectually delicious! Thank You! Missed this but I am here for it!
OMG!! quickly became one of my all time favorites!! and it's not even finished yet.....
Why do you just jumped from person to person? Like one minute it’s in her point of view and then the next it’s in his but you give us absolutely no warning? We just have to guess who’s talking at the moment? That’s very confusing
I feel just the opposite of the previous comment lamenting lack of transition between character speaking. I think that's great. I really like it because it forces me to really pay attention to the detail of the story you know who's talking. I love it don't change.
Precious and slow, with a great payoff. I enjoyed this very much between seeing her eat, banter with him, then finally give in--and you played off her inner dialogue battle with herself quite well. 5
I started at the beach reunion, on a vacation tag search, and other than the rapey part, this is a fun series. After reading 1, all I can say is, good on ya, I'm not sure if I'll read 2 or the finale next, but I encourage you to keep writing as long as it's fun.
I also read 1, because now that I'm invested, I couldn't tell from context what race Dax was, although I guess cajun/irish/"Dax" should have clued me in.
Thank you for sharing your fun.
