Excellent series--very exciting and very well-written. One suggestion: Let your great description speak for itself without repeatedly saying this was the most amazing thing you'd ever seen. As they say in writing school, show, don't tell. And you show so well, telling only distracts we readers from imagining ourselves in your place.
