Really, this could've been longer than it was. Yes, what was there was damn good, but it took less than five minutes to read it all.

That said, the premise is still great! No cheating. No cucking. No BTBing. Just two people in love and married to each other having some raunchy public fun. Nothing wrong with that, folks! :D

Love that's it's the hubby and wife that are having fun and exploring with only each other. That is how marriage should be, not the wife turning into a cheating pig out of no where destroying the marriage. Hope you continue to write stories with this type of story line. A married couple should do different things together in bed to keep their marriage fresh. They should do this with each other not with some other guy who has no respect for you and is just using you .

I was hoping the second chapter would reveal the direction this story will take, but it was just another sex scene. Since there is no "TBC" at the end of this chapter, should we assume that's the end of this story? If so, why break it up into two chapters? The two chapters together would have been two pages, max, and it would have flowed better.

It's pretty obvious by the scores and comments that the BTB crowd is heaping praise on this story for the sole reason that there is no extra-marital sex, which they find "refreshing." That's fine, but could you imagine if every Loving Wives story was nothing more than a play-by-play recap of the sex we had with our wives last night?

I'm not opposed to LW stories that feature nothing except monogamous sex between a husband and wife. In fact, one of my favorite authors is tdallyn, who wrote several stories with that theme. When it is done right, it can be incredibly erotic and entertaining.

I'm sorry, Jbrassmonkey, but I just wasn't aroused or entertained by your story. It reminded me of standing at a high school gym locker, listening to a friend brag about having sex with the prom queen. I may have found that arousing back then (because I wasn't having any sex myself), but today, my reaction is: "okay, big deal." We all have sex with our wives. Why is that interesting?

Maybe if you had included a little more information about the husband and wife, I would care more about what they do. If you write another chapter, I would hit the pause button on all the sex scenes, and do a little more character development.

I could say the same thing about the swinger stories you prefer. What's so erotic about getting it on with another man's wife and he with yours. It's just sex. Same thing every story with a slight variation. Hey we each have our own preferences, leave it at that. Some of your suggestions and advice was right on, but putting your two cents worth in about the btb crowd, shows your confrontational side. If some find this to be refreshing and they reward the author with a high score for it, so be it.

There is enough discontent in this category already, not going to stir the pot by getting personal. Actually decided not to comment on any swinging/willing cuckold story again. Just will walk away. If everybody did that, this feud would stop.

Author all I can say to you is, keep writing. You attract a certain audience and that's all that counts. Loving wives is very controversial, to many opposing themes in the same category. You missed my point, ML. I also think that some stories about extra-marital sex are boring. In the end, it's not about a story's theme (monogamy, swinging, extra-marital affairs, etc.), but its CONTENT that I use to judge whether or not a story is entertaining or arousing.

My point is that the people who are praising this story and rating it so highly are doing so because of the story's theme -- monogamous sex between a loving, married couple -- and not because of its content.

It's just my opinion. I thought this was the section of the site where we're supposed to express our opinions about stories and comments. Maybe people really do find this story interesting and entertaining. I don't. It's only my opinion. You're free to disagree. We can disagree without being "confrontational", can't we?

I actually got the message. What I'm saying is you singled out a group of readers (the BTB crowd) and implied that they praise a story like this for the sole reason that there is no extra marital sex in it. Personally, I happen to like extra marital affair stories, main reason I come to LW. Find the trials and tribulation of adultery interesting reading, but that doesn't mean I don't like stories like this because they don't have extra marital sex. It's just refreshing at times to read something different. Of course a steady diet of anything will become boring. Actually, most likely most of the btb crowd prefer fire and brimstone ending, but it doesn't mean they won't enjoy a story like this occasionally. Like I said before, to each his own.

Joe, it's no secret, I read the comments on most stories, that the BTB crowd and Anons get under your skin, and you take every opportunity to lash out at them. We all need to work at being more civil in this category.

Well, it is apparent that the boat approaching our couple at the end of Ch2 will NOT contain the Black Adonis and the Latino Casanova who have been 'hanging horns' on Hubby for the last five years ... often in tandem! So - no 'airtight Sweetie' in Ch3! I can cope with that! This addendum to the 'sweet saga' is just an unlikely* scenario in the same pleasant vein!

There is an understandable issue as to whether the rating should be used to reflect the caliber of the author's storytelling skills OR to simply reflect how much the rater liked the story (1-bombing those with a non-preferred theme or outcome and maxxing those where the author 'gets it right!'.) I am in the former group, but ultimately, there is no way (or reason) to try to influence a reader's criterial choice!

Likewise, there is no way for a LIT reader to dictate the category an author selects for his/her 'opus!' There are a LOT of entries in the LW category (including many of the TLW flavor) which I would reclassify IF I were the LIT webmaster/editor. But I'm NOT and neither is any other subscribing reader. (Yeah, and there are A FEW tales I would just shit-can!) So, I do NOT find this to be unwelcome in LW. It would NOT (Gordo12) fit so well in Anal or Exhibitionist because neither act was blatant enough to titilatte those audiences. Erotic Coupling or maybe Romance would, IMHO, work as alternatives but it is NOT a big deal. If there IS a Ch3 (without the 'airtight' scene), it SHOULD stay in the original category!

* 'Unlikely' to anyone who has tried underwater coitus. It is NOT impossible (and there is one technique which makes it marginally more comfortable) but 'natural' or water-based lube washes away VERY quickly ... quicker than it can be replaced! In short, sensitive skin scrapes on sensitive skin within seconds in a well-maintained swimming pool! It gets worse FAST if the water is less pristine (and Katie-Bar-The-Door bad in surf which has sand or mud particles!). Not even mentioning (well, yeah) the chances (for both partners) of infection or infestation!

It's great to read about a real loving wife instead of a cheating skank. I wrote one like that myself, back in a previous Christmas contest.

Revenge is fun sometimes if it's inventive, but some good old fashioned sex that isn't part of the hero's "second chance love" is fun to read, too. This was an adventurous couple going at it in the great outdoors. Sure, it could've gone into Exhibitionist/Voyeur or Erotic Couplings, but LW works too.

The writing was really good, except for a few typos. Just wish there was more of a storyline to it.

I am not disappointed that the two characters are married, to each other, and love sex, with each other. If the pervs are looking for some cheating and slutting, how about imagining that this only happens on the weekends. And during the week they are each off porking whoever answers their permanent Craigslist ad. Then they get STD's and pregnant, and he starts sucking cock, and becomes a cuck, and she's doing gangbangs down at the Greyhound station . . ., ooooh, I'm starting to sweat just imagining the dark side of these cheating whorish spouses.
