Great start; just one comment: hair can be the color of cornsilk (pale yellow), but not cornflowers, which are blue. ; ) Just sayin'

I must have been reading a lot of NonHuman lately -- cornflower blue hair was fine with me, until I realized Taylor was human. :) Anyway, wonderful job -- I'm going to read ch. 2 right now, I can't wait to see what happens next! Definitely will favorite this.
