"Okay okay, I didn't mean to call you out," I apologized. "I'm sure you understand where I'm coming from. A coincidence like this? I mean, anyone would be skeptical right? This whole things hasn't been exactly a walk in the park now, has it?"

Thane scoffed at me. "Wanna talk about a walk in the park? At least you didn't have a psychopath trying to murder you," Thane said, shooting a knowing look to Will.

"Can we get back on topic here?" Taron said, trying to steer our conversation back to our current predicament. "So, this interview is...when?" Taron asked.

"Right now. Taron, does Kevin's current posting negatively affect your relationship with him in any way, shape or form?" Will asked.

"Uh...yes?," Taron replied, caught off guard by the sudden question.

"Alena, does Kevin's current posting negatively affect your relationship with him in any way, shape or form?" he asked again.

"Yes," she replied, more confident in her answer than Taron was.

"Great. Interview done. Reposting application approved," Will said.

"That's it?" I asked. "I assumed the interview would be more formal. I mean, you did say that your initiative's reputation is at stake here."

"Look kid, you wanna get reposted or not?" Will deadpanned, to which I nodded. "Then just listen to me. Between you and me, the original survey is a lot longer, but I may be a little biased this time."

I laughed, turning to face Taron to see him smiling at me. I walked over and wrapped my arms around his waist, "Seems like everything's falling into place after all," I said.

"I love you," he whispered.

"I love you too," I said, as I leaned forward to kiss him.

"So, does this mean I don't get hot, new, gay neighbors?" Max asked. I had actually forgotten he and Hank were still here. I smiled against Taron lips but didn't break the kiss. "No threesome?"

"Like he would look at you twice when he has me anyway" Taron muttered, making me smile harder.

"Damn right," I said, kissing Taron harder.

Yay!

I'm glad they were able to work things out even though Ken had tricked his twin (already read the entire story, just getting around to commenting)! I don't know why people are calling Will dumb in the comments for not thinking to transfer Kevin sooner. Why would he even think that when Kevin and Taron were going through their problems including no longer being together? Will is a very busy man with a ton of responsibility, why would he keep track of what Kevin and Taron have going on? Besides, he would need them to be back together and appearing to want to work things out before even considering the transfer anyway because Kevin, Taron and Alena would have to state how much the distance was affecting their relationship, etc.

Well, even elites are prone to moments of idiocy. Haha. As for Alena...well...read the next chapter. Haha

Yes, it is kinda sad that this is ending but all things must come to an end eventually right. Haha. Besides, when one door closes, another opens.

So, I'm the only one wonders how Kev has enough shit to fill two hovercrafts? LOL Also: elites are dumb for smart people. Shame on Will for not immediately thinking about reassigning Kev. (He tested as an elite, so he counts, dammit.) And Alena is a psychologist. I thought she knew all along how Ken felt about her. Kev seems to be a deeper thinker than all of them!

Sorry this story is coming to an end. I hope you write more soon, musicfreak. It doesn't matter what planet they're based on. :0)

I feel bad for Natals

There treated just above second class citizens, like the dumb sheep that'll be happy wherever they're placed. All people are different, even among the supposed sheep, there are differences. The world is full of endless variety. People are full of endless, wonderful variety. It is not natal and elite, black and white. It is that and every shade in-between. It's the ignorance of the slightly elite leaning natal or the elite with some natal tendencies that harms. That, and just placing people willy nilly with disregard for the close familial and platonic ties that sustain all people.
