All Comments on 'Whisper Of The Wind'

I really liked this story. I was Army, but was at a Marine R&R station in the Med. A Group of Marines are the biggist bunch of ASSHOLES anywhere. Bar None. A Marine alone is like a Boy Scout Eagle. I have known many Jar Head and they are the best people around. They will help when trouble is at hand. Do most anything to help a friend. Good sense of humor. Just don't get them in a group. This story shows that you have been around them too. I still like to pick on them though. I am also happy that I didn't become one.

Entertaining story. School bus was a hoot. Thought maybe one of the five would have stayed with him. Ex-wife was a twist.

I laughed out loud when I read the part where Charlie rousted the 5 women out of bed early and marched them up the mountain. It reminded me of a Drill Instructor I had in Dago back in '68. He was an asshole too. Pretty good story. Kind of short, would have been nice to have had a little more.
