Click here"Senior Airman Hoyt, I think that I can grant your transfer request. I need to talk to General McMillain, and Colonel Roberts, the wing commander for which you would be working," Colonel Krebbs said.
"Colonel, I recommend that he be transferred. It would be good for his morale. But I daresay that the wing will not be happy to part with it's newest hero," That was Captain Miller, my flight commander. He gave me a grin, which I returned.
"Well, Captain, I suppose you're right, but I don't want this to wait. I'll handle it personally. I'll have your answer in 3 days tops. But right now, I have to go see a man about some golf clubs," he rose, and reached to shake my hand, I took it, "Senior Airman Hoyt, I'll look forward to seeing you again, and I'm sorry to be losing you."
"Thank you, sir, but I don't know if I can live without Nina any longer, now that I know she exists, that is," I saluted him as he and the captain prepared to leave.
He returned the salute, and so did Captain Miller. After they dropped their salutes, I shook their hands one last time. They left me standing in the room by myself. I was rejoicing inside. I was going to Europe to be with Nurse Nina Muller. Fuckin' A!!!
---------------
"Jonny, are you sure?" She asked with tears in her eyes.
"Yes, baby, I'm sure. Will you marry me?" I was on one knee, and it was starting to hurt, I hoped she'd say yes.
"Yes, of course I will, you silly American!!" I stood up and she threw her arms around me, and started sobbing into my neck. I started to feel tears of m own welling up in my eyes, but fought them away, since my new best friend was with me. Nina's family was also in attendance. I don't think that there was a dry eye amongst them.
Seven months later, Nina Muller and I were married. As we came back to my house in the little village on our wedding night, she gave me a mischievous grin and said: "Do you remember our first time?"
"How could I forget. You are the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. I love you.'
"I want to relive our first time, I even bought some California wine for the occasion."
"You goofy Kraut," I leaned in and kissed her, and we lapsed into memories, and reenacted them. Something we do quite often now, and it never loses it's touch. Even after all these years.......
It's well-written with believable characters and a plot that holds the reader's interest. Will look forward to your next story :-)
but... "ein schwieliger Amerikaner" is an American with horny skin, like someone gets from manual labor. "scharfer" or "geiler" Amerikaner would be a more fitting translation
Lovley sentimantal love story with interesting sexy detail.
