They ran along side by side for a moment, until a deer veered away from the small heard. Julie knew the area, and therefore knew the deer would soon have to decide to jump into the river or turn right. So she headed to her right while Amanda's wolf continued to chase the deer

The three of them ran a short distance further, and as Julie's wolf had predicted the deer turned away from the river right into Julie's waiting jaws. Lacy and Amanda's wolves ran at a slow steady pace while they talked and made plans to hookup. Meanwhile Alex, Fifi and Julie's wolves mostly sprinted, ran, and played.

After the run:
