That was an incredibly beautiful tribute to your mother. Both my mother and my wife's mother were lost to cancer - the former many years ago, and the latter only 7 months ago. I've often said that I had the two best moms anyone could ask for.

One never completely heals from big losses. We learn to adapt and adjust to the new normal we find ourselves living in, and I think you've expressed that in a way that many will understand.
