Not to picky, unless you were going for humor. the mnemonic is I before e except 'after' c.
i before e except after c. The word "receive" has been misspelled on this site forever. Nothing to hit somebody over the head with, expect it does stick out like a sore thumb when words are misspelled in a story. Somehow it seems to stem the natural flow. Yes, author I've noticed that the more experienced and better known authors on this site are over fifty. Must be something to the having lived a lot longer theory. I found your article a little humorous with some good points. Hm, now let's see was that spelled "to" or "too", maybe "then" or perhaps "than". Ah, hell, who cares, just write and I'll overlook your grammar and spelling errors. ML
