I have hiked the AT about 4 times and the Mountain people are the best friend you could have.

A good hiker has a compass, a good hiker never leaves the trail unless searching for water.

In all 30 years of hiking I have never met a dangerous person.

If this had happened Frank would be expected to return to the cabin with assault riftes. Mountain people will never respect him.

I know this was fantasy, but find another way to get your nuts off! Mountain people save lives.

Her husband has to suffer for the rest of his life, while Clyde Beckwith gets away, with wrecking someone's life. Beckwith was a "man of the world". Bullshit! He's a bully and a rapist.

I loved the story and gave it 5 stars. Frank was the real loser in this story. I agree that ricks do not get into the underwear of a clothed hiker but they have been in the woods for five days and fucked several times, including in a field. This is a perfect way for ticks to get into the pubic hair of Debbie. I wonder if the marriage survives this. I doubt it.
