Back in the late 70s- early 80s is was a great place for a naturist to visit. I preferred Long Nook, but had to go late June or rent a cottage to get a town sticker. So Herring Cove was the next best place. Those were grand days and other naturists were very welcoming and friendly, but if sexual encounters were one's thing, a greater discretion was needed.
