I held my breath when she reopened her eyes, they were soft with wonder and curiosity, before a short flash of confusion washed over them as I fetched a deep sigh of relief.

"Bernd?" Kathrina's voice was firm, much to my relief, I 'hmm?'ed and kissed her tenderly, she gave a soft 'mmhhh' before she continued, "You need me to speak ingenuously... it will make little sense to withhold something?"

"Yes, Kathrina... and no - total openness is required. Rely on our mutual trust... we'd only waste valuable time If I'd be coerced to stumble around through dark area... do you understand that?"
