The 'confessional letter' is one the funniest tropes in the LW genre. It's never written for the actual benefit of the wronged spouse, but always to help the unfaithful one to unburden him/her from the actions that brought rifts in, if not the end of the relationship.

Anne's ramblings pretty much check every single boxes that you expect to see from such a letter: declaration of complete devotion, regardless of the infidelity(ies) and complete disrespect showed during their union; brutally honest and well detailed accounts of most of the indiscretions the writer committed; half-assed explanations of said indiscretions, that the writer seriously think can be accused because of previously mentioned devotion; whining over the destruction of their relationship, and the subsequent absence of the ex from the writer's life; continuous begging for forgiveness from writer for all of her transgression, and so forth, and so on...

Well, it's all there, folks! Anne definitely hit all of the needed marks - good job, slut!

Gotta say, though, that I didn't at all expected the extreme case of BTB plsplsme wanted to inject into his story. It's always amusing to witness unfaithful wives completely clueless as to what the men they married, the men they should know more than anyone else on Earth, are capable of (then again, those men are just as clueless about how slutty the women they wived up are, so...) I guess our friend Tony got some 'connections' from the other side of the law that could have help him redirect his life from the sad path it has taken, which is all righteous and all... however, I don't really understand why they needed to go so thoroughly 'scorched Earth' about it - taking the sex friends' illicitly gained stash, plus their rape and humiliation seemed quite enough... I could even understand their kidnapping, continuous sexual assaults and, ultimately, them getting infected with a bunch of STDs - sure, it's all awful, but still very rightfully, in a biblical sense... Their castrations, however, seems like complete overkill, especially since no one of them have any idea who their tormentor was - that would have made sense for Tony to laugh at them, taunting them about the scope of his revenge, but, if he just wanted to walk away with Beth and Lisa and leave those losers behind... well, the HIV would have been enough, wouldn't it? Got to also add the whole 'Tony-takes-both-of-the-wives-of-the-men-that-cuckolded-him' in the 'overkill' category - one or one at a time, yeah, sure, plausible, but both at the same time? Alright - whatever float your boat, author!

That's basically my overall feeling about this story: as despicable as Tony's actions turned out to be, any sensible reader can still justify them as the bonkers reactions to Anne's just as deplorable actions towards him. Every single one of the reasons she gave for her cheating can only be viewed as the pathetic logic of a devious slut who didn't hold her husband to the same level of respect he held her. Tony didn't signed up to be married to a whore, which is essentially what Anne turned out to be. She knew it, yet still acted accordingly, despise knowing full well the danger she put her marriage in - but without knowing the danger she put herself in! You also have to appreciate the fact Tony didn't bother reading the damn letter - I mean, why would he? He already knew most of it already, and doing so would probably only give him some guilt he didn't need or deserve to carry anymore... Maybe, in a given time, he'll also feel the need to do his own mea culpa about the whole thing, but it definitely shouldn't be prompt by Anne's ramblings.

So... monogamy not really your thing? The idea of opening your legs to no one else, but your husband doesn't really held that much appeal to you? Then your best move is to probably first speak to your soon-to-be husband about it - who knows, he may be into sharing or, at the very least, pimping. But, if you're unwilling to show this minimum level of honesty... then you deserves everything that may happen to you. No sympathy.

Evidently, the author may have some major issues he's trying to deal with (seriously, dude, the castration was a bit much...), but I do enjoy his no-hold-barred, 'fuck the bitch and any assholes stupid enough to touch her' approach to all his stories thus far. Suspension of disbelief is a real challenge for authors. Maybe ONE coming along in your average run o the mill story is OK. But when the entire effort hinges on this S.O. D concept, yet offer NOTHING else of value along the way? Simply, only a signal of a lack of effort by the author, and surely a most cringe worthy experience for the reader.

I PREFER to read well crafted BTB stories in this category, and consider myself a real fan of the genre. But this missed the mark. Sorry. Better luck next time.

So in 7 years to a decade or more she never changed her mind or decided to move on, just remaining steadfast all that time. And it took at least 6, possibly more years for Beth and Lisa to get pregnant. Sure took him a bit for a person whose 'youth' was stolen, and should be in a hurry. And likening it to . . . I read Sicilian Revenge on SOL. I think the author made a typo error, Tony's father-in-law (Anne's father) is Josh & not John. Both stories have some minor flaws but are great to read. They complement one another. Sicilian is about Tony, how he discovers Anne's infidelity & works with Uncle Joe on his revenge. They are the most BTB stories I've ever read on this site. Personally I think it's a good thing, it brings changes to those stories we are used to. At least someone has dared to write something different. We should give the author his/her due. All cuck & wimp haters will love this story.

Usually a mutilation is sent to be a visible warning, to warn others of the consequences. In this case, the author did not provide a motive for this. The initial rapes could have been committed to break them, to get bank account information. But after that, they would have been most likely, killed. Besides an excuse to write some sick shit, it does not make any sense in context. 3 stars.
