2yrs for 1 page and half of that was from the last chapter.why?

Karen sure is immature acting. I know she has been through quite a bit but I don't see the reason for her treating Theo like she does. He has feelings just like her. I guess it is easier to try and hate him instead of admitting to how she really feels.
