... for this lovely story in UK English - but let's not be beastly to our American cousins - their subset of English is just as valid as ours, and probably has more speakers and writers, truth to tell! Let us celebrate both our differences and our commonalities!

Try to be up beat. Do not start your new work here in a negative way,

by putting down a language that you no nothing about.

Sorry, if I send more I'll moderate my disclaimer. In my defence. I only defend British English, I don't slam other variants; write as you are, if I can't understand I move on. But mostly, in the past, I have been more than a little outraged by the negative comments persons have left for authors who use British English. I feel for those authors much more than I care about 'friends and influence'.

to figure why people were offended by the short intro comment to your story. But I guess some folks just like to huff 'n puff. Didn't bother me at all. Comments about something so innocent are just a waste of time. They probably have their own agenda anyway.

Loved the story, and hope you post more. Besides, I love the differences in language from culture to culture. You say this, and I say that. And I enjoy both.

Something different spices up the text and lends clues to the author. I implore authors not to sift and strain your local terms and spellings out. Besides, you Brits can't compare to the Aussies for interesting use of the language. :D:D:D

It’s all well and good to expand your horizons and move out of your comfort zone but seriously “no safe word”, such a bad idea. She was so far out of her comfort zone she was in the twilight zone. If she was blindfolded it’s likely the boyfriend was there, if not then I would have dumped the jerk. The whole thing came across as a torture session instead of an erotic adventure.
