I have taken the author's introduction to heart. With that said, I enjoyed the story. I would have liked a little more character development. The unbridled openness of the family members was somewhat refreshing. Mother, daughter and son had no problem with incest. Father being only 1-2 years older than wife had more qualms with his actions; however, it was not developed as to why? Having no problem with consensual incest, I question where else someone could find the security, safety and depth of love than in an incestuous relationship. Each person realizes that they want to please and satisfy the other's needs and wants as much, if not more, than satisfy their own needs.
