Tessarie and Keiter crossed the room with bundles under their arms which they added to the growing pile by the door. Most of it was sleeping equipment and other useful supplies-- they'd need to get food and other things on the road to Devon, but they were off to a good start. Sarah met the paladin's gaze expectantly.
"I'm just saying, splitting up isn't a good idea. Especially not when you look like. . ."
"Like?"
Something registered on his face and he looked over her. "Uh oh--"
Sarah glanced back in time to see something move in her peripheral vision. A form crossed by the window, blocking out the light for just a moment. "Oh bugger."
"Get down--" was as far as he got before the window exploded inward.
Never a dull moment. Sarah mused.

It's really humbling and encouraging to know that something I produce is worth your time to read, I only hope I can continue to keep you entertained as we go forward. :)
Also, while this is -very- preliminary, I'd like to mention that I'm working on turning the first volume into a novella I hope to release sometime in February. This means three things:
1) Revisions
2) More plotty bits and a little more focused narrative that will hopefully bring the (episodic) tale to a start while keeping the entire volume a semi-self contained story.
3) It's going to be released on Amazon and free for a short time as part of KDP select.

Anonymousabout 10 years agoAs always, your sex scenes are hot! I did also enjoy the banter between Sarah and Keiter very much, because of their wits. Those two are growing on me. The others not so much, because they're "simple." I'm crossing fingers for Keiter in future sex scenes, because since he had sex with a goddess, he must've learned some nice tricks or something. Otherwise, keep up the great work!
