Pretty good, but

It seamed like once the case proceedings started, you realized you had a deadline and had to end it. In the middle of the proceedings, all of a sudden every feasible form of incriminating evidence comes to light while they're all in court? How'd that work? Hopefully none of that was available prior to the trial, because if it was and the DA withheld it, the whole case would be thrown out. And what was the deal with the fake DA? They hired a guy to rape the key witness? How could that have possibly ended well for the defense? That act alone could have added another life sentence for him and the defense attorney.

Anyway, still enjoyed the story, build-up was well done, story was well structured and well written. Just would've liked to see it conclude a bit more naturally and realistically. Four.

Helluva story

And a helluva ending for it - for it a change - too few monsters get caught -

Damn good job

You expressed your scenes quite well. And the story was certainly well thought out. I commend you for your effort and for your style of writing in this story. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Tygrrusko

A very good story but 4*... There are to many misses. The adoptive parents were very well-off/rich. Wouldn't Ella get trustee/ownership of the estate? As I suspect that her adopted dad got +25yrs-to-life for multiple rapes & murder (not even adding incest). The uncle should have gotten +8yrs for rape and perjury (false alibi).

What happen to the fake-DA attempted rape in the cabin? And since the DA discovered Big Bill hired this fake-DA to rape her why wasn't Big Bill disbarred and nailed on felony conspiracy?

Way to many loose ends to the story, even with the happy ending.

Good story except I wanted dad and uncle Brian dead, dead, dead . . . .

I'm a pretty normal average male, chronologically well over 18 but psychologically I'm not so sure. I have been writing as a hobby for many years and now that I have time on my hands I am looking to become more professional at it. I enjoy reading, morning walks along the river...
