Down the hall Melody waited for him outside the copier room, leaning against the wall she had her arms folded and staring him down with a fierce gaze. Eric stopped in front of her.

"What?" He asked.

"I know what you are doing, it's not going to work. She is not going to give you the job just because you are trying to pork her."

Taken back a bit, he tilted his head at her. "Oh? Like how you are not going to get the job so easily because I won't "pork" you."

She blushed a light pink but her eyes were raging with anger. "Listen here you little shit! I have busted my ass to get here, so why don't you fucking do me a favor and quit!"

Eric scoffed at her.

"You think you are the only one? I have had to take care of my aunt AND do school, the application process here took months just for me to get in."

Melody rolled her eyes. "Oh, wow how hard it must be for you to take care of your aunt. At least your dad doesn't beat you."

Eric gave her a look of concern. "He beats you?"

Shaking her head. "Doesn't matter, I don't need your pity. What matters is I'm here to win. I won't let anything stop me."

Eric thought carefully for a moment, what was he supposed to say back to her?

"Well, just because he beat you. I apologize but I am not giving up so easily either."

Melody shrugged. "Fine, guess I will just have to make you quit."

"Oh? How do you plan on doing that?"

Melody shrugged at him as she walked off, swaying her hips.

"Don't know yet, but when I do. You will be the first to know." She gave a twisted smirk over her shoulder at him.

Eric felt a bit uneasy about what she possibly might do. But no time to stop now. Stepping inside the copier room to continue his morning routine.

Later that morning. Eric sat in the star buck's coffee shop, he tapped his fingers against the green counter he leaned on. Awaiting his order, he tried his best to stop his mind from wandering back to those panties hugging against his boss's pussy.

Reimagining the soft pink fabric as best he could. He so desperately wanted to shove his face between her legs.

"Here you go!" The young lady from behind the counter sets two cup carriers down, a total of eight coffee beverages snug in the holders.

Eric startled from his fantasy, jolted backwards with a quick and embarrassing look on his face quickly after. "Oh!"

The woman giggled, doing her best to stifle it. "I am so sorry!"

Eric tried to brush it off as best he could, standing up-right and clearing his throat. "It's uh, okay. I apologize, I was just day dreaming about my..." Stopping before he made an even bigger fool out of himself. "Just day dreaming."

The young blonde barista gave a friendly smile. "Well, here you go. Eight cups, just the way you ordered."

Eric pulled his keys out of his pocket, noticing his receipt for the drinks stuck to his keys. He pulled it loose and stuffed it back into his pants before grabbing the drinks carefully with keys in hand.

"Thank you! I will see you again tomorrow."

She smirked. "Well, I sure hope so."

Eric gave a friendly smile back, but as he turned away from her he blushed faintly. Wondering what she could have possibly meant by that.

God women were so confusing to him!

Approaching his car, parked just outside. He stopped when he reached the side and noticed both his left front and back tires were slashed.

"Ah! Wh-what the fuck! Who would... Awh! Come on man! Are you fucking kidding?"

Getting into his car he sets the drinks down in the passenger seat, popping open the trunk. He sighed as he stepped out of his car but stopped.

Sitting across the parking lot was Melody, watching him from the hood of her car. Slurping on a caramel iced coffee from star bucks. He narrowed his eyes and stomped off towards her.

"What the fuck! Did you do that?"

Melody gave a careless shrug. "Maybe, I told you to quit."

Eric's eyes filled with rage. "Are you fucking stupid! That's going to cost me like two hundred dollars to get fixed!"

"Well, Like I said. Don't like it? Quit."

Eric groaned and ran his hands onto his face in frustration at this stupid woman. First he has to deal with her at the office, now she seems to be causing him trouble outside. Not to mention his aunt's tires... She may be a slut whom sleeps for money, but she does it because they can't afford a good life with her holding a regular job.

She does it so he doesn't have to suffer, so he can go to a great school. Now he has two slashed tires and this woman just won't stop! The anger building inside of him now with her constant belittling him.

"Well, you better get those coffee's back to Mrs. Rose before they get cold." She giggled, swinging her legs off of her hood. Sliding off and getting into her car.

"Oh, and this is just the beginning. I am just getting warmed up."

Eric walked over to her door before she shut it and pushed her aside. "No! Fuck that!"

Being shoved rather roughly, enough force to push her across her leather covered stick shift.

"Ow! Hey what the fuck! Watch it!" Shouting at Eric.

Eric pushed his way into her car, keys already in the ignition he quickly acted without even thinking, turning the car on. Eric gripped the leather shifter tightly, pressing down on the clutch he snapped it into first gear and slammed on the gas.

Melody screamed out!"What the fuck! Get the fuck out of my car! I am going to call the police! Hey! Stop my fucking car!"

She began slapping at Eric, stopping really quickly when he snapped the car into second shift, screeching into a quick turn out of the parking lot and onto the highway.

"Hey! Are you fucking listening to me?! Pull the fuck over and get out! I will call the police!" She threatened now pulling out her phone.

Eric noticed she began dialing, the engine revved up quickly and he slammed it into third, throwing her back a little and quickly reached over. Keeping one hand on the wheel he snatched her phone out of her hand.

"Eric! What the fuck! Give me my- "

Before she could even finish that sentence, Eric rolled down the window and lobbed the phone onto the highway road.

"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!" she screamed at him.

Eric snapped a look over at her from the corner of his eyes. "No! I am not! You are fucking going to say sorry for ruining my aunt's tires! She works hard to support me, and I can't afford to pay for new ones!"

Slapping the shifter into 4th gear. Melody notices how fast they really are going now. She notices Eric beginning to buckle and in a fear of what he is planning she buckles herself, but refuses to break so easily to his demands.

"Go ahead! Drive like a fucking idiot! You will ruin your life too!" Melody does her best to try and convince him.

Eric quickly slams on the breaks, screeching tires fill their ears with the car's weight pulling towards the front. Eric spins the steering-wheel swerving just in time to get off the highway.

He begins speeding down the side roadway passing cars going the speed limit.

The engine rev's and again slamming the gear shifter with the stomp of the clutch.

"What the fuck are you doing!?"

Eric truly didn't know himself, all this happening in the heat of the moment. He knew he was car-jacking her, what he didn't know is where he planned on going or how he was going to get out of this without going to jail.

Swerving down the streets passing slower cars he speeds quickly to a light, seeing it slowly go from green to yellow. He makes a quick decision, just as it turns red. Eric turns hard to the right slamming on the breaks, screeching tires once again as they skid quickly into the turn.

Eric not a professional driver or anything, but when his mom was dating the race car driver. He had plenty of time to drive around the courses and practice while the driver banged his aunt. Now all that was finally paying off!

"HOOOOOOLLLLLLLYYYYYY SHHHHHIITT!" Melody screamed at the top of her lungs, fearing they would flip or worse!

Eric felt slightly cool as he just pulled off a sharp turn, only being a little rocky on the readjustments back onto the road. Now driving down a suburban area road. He slowed down, but not enough for Melody to jump out.

"Woo! Did you see that shit?!" He looked over to see Melody tearing up, her hands tightly gripping at the safety grip near her window and other hand on the dash.

"Just pull the fuck over, you fucking idiot!" Screaming bloody murder at him.

Eric shook his head. "NO! Not until you apologize!"

Melody clenched her jaw. "Fine! I am fucking sorry about your stupid tires!"

Eric revved the engine. "I want a better one, or I can find a great place to go off roading!" Knowing full well this car wouldn't be able to really handle anything too extreme off road, but she didn't know that!

"Okay! I am sorry, Eric I am really sorry! Please just stop the car! I want out!"

Eric shook his head. "Why should I believe you?"

Eric continued to stroll down the suburban roads, his speed was enough that Melody didn't even want to try to just tuck and roll out.

Even when he passed stop signs he made sure to not stop, just simply carefully look both ways quickly before speeding past.

"Please, Eric!" Tears began streaming down her face.

Eric's rage slowly faulterd against her tears of fear. Slowing the car, he pulled into an empty family park, parking-lot. Putting the car in park he sighed and gripped the steering wheel. Melody gently sobbed in the passenger seat.

"Sorry, I... I guess I just lost it when I saw you shredded my aunt's tires. It just really, really bothered me."

Melody wiped her eyes and unbuckled, quickly getting out of the car. She walked around to the back, leaning against it she wiped her eyes more. Trying to calm herself.

Eric watched quietly from the rear view mirror, seeing mostly her long blonde hair. He couldn't help but feel really terrible now, even if she was a cunt. Why should he act the same?

He got out after a few moments, letting her collect herself and giving him time to think of what to say. He stepped round to the back and leaned against the rear, alongside Melody.

She folded her arms and kept her gaze adverted.

"I am sorry." Eric stated.

Melody didn't respond, simply keeping quiet.

Eric rubbed the back of his head. "I don't know what else you want me to say."

Melody snapped a look to him now. "I don't want you to say anything, we are even now."

"Even? What?"

Melody nodded and sniffled. "Yes, Even. I shredded your tires. Made fun of you. You threw out my phone, and scared the living shit out of me."

Eric smirked at her. "Well, to be fair... I knew what I was doing, just not where I was going."

Melody scoffed. "Where did you even learn to drive like that?"

Eric shrugged and looked up, thinking for a moment. He took his time explaining how his Aunt sleeps around to pay for their things, how she has dated various men with various professions.

One of the very few perks he gets is learning from the men and their skills. To some extent at least, some of them are just hit it and quit it before they even spend any time with Eric.

Melody swallows hard.

"Yeah, well... We all have our problems. Like me and my abusive dad."

Eric tilts his head at her. "Want to talk about it?"

Melody hesitates, nodding after contemplating her decision. "Alright."

Taking a deep breath, Melody let it out slowly before starting.

"My mom had died giving birth to me, my father pretty much blames me. Shortly after her death he began drinking, of course his mom helps care for me when he works, but she is not much better. She doesn't beat me but she scolds me and locks me in my room so I don't bother her."

Giving a shrug. "At least she used too, now I am out of the house most of the time while my father is at work. I have to try and have dinner ready for him before he gets home since he makes all the money."

Melody brushes a few of her golden locks out of her face. "I hate my dad, I really do. But I have no other options right now. If I file against him, he goes to jail and I lose any place I have to live." She sighs looking over towards Eric.

"So that's kind of the gist of my story."

Eric couldn't help but feel apologetic to this young beautiful woman. "Well, if it does mean anything. I am sorry your life is hard."

Melody gives him a soft smile. "Thanks, does mean a little."

Eric and Melody both sat there in a short awkward silence before Eric spoke up.

"Well, we need to be getting back. I am sure our hour break and coffee run will be up pretty soon." Melody looked at him and nodded.

"I drive this time." She chuckles.

Eric gives a smirk and hands over the keys.

"Deal."

Arriving back at the office after stopping by the star bucks and picking up the coffee, Eric explained the coffee was only warm due to car troubles. Keeping the truth hidden as too why. Melody stood next to Eric as he spoke feeling guilty but keeps quiet.

Mrs. Rose nodded. "That's fine, I am glad you are alright. But these things happen. Now you two can get back to work."

Eric was all too happy to get back to work, now that him and Melody were getting onto better footing. Heading out of the office, the rest of his day consisted of copying papers, running errands, and organizing folders for the secretary outside.

Oh dear

Good idea but terrible delivery and grammar.

Too much changing between past and present.

'He walks through the hallway, his dress shoes clicking against the floor causing an echo.' - no! He walked through etc.

Learn to use to and too you got it wrong several times.

Just so annoying.

Part 2 - reply.

Hey! Ty for the comment, means a lot to me! I have been toying at the idea of revisiting one of my other stories since I just finished Amy's forth chapter. With your comment I may do just that with Eric's internship!

Part 2

Hi Rheyn - I really enjoyed this story, but to use a musical analogy it ends on an imperfect cadence; everything about the chord/ending says that the tune/story wants to move on rather than finish there :-)

I know you've been busy with Amy, but do you have plans to return to Eric, Melody and Mrs Rose someday soon? Thx

Keep going

Great possibility on this story, you've left lots of story lines and plots that can happen. It could be a really good read, don't stop!
