Of course half an hour walking on a road with no traffic for half an hour in the middle of the night just does not sound like a road to justify a petrol filling station and certainly not 24 hour opening - perhaps it was set at a T junction with a more major road.

I could not see why he was choosing to walk on a potentially busy road. Why not a very minor road? Easy enough to press into a hedge and unlikely he would even have been seen by any passing car. Better really a footpath, perhaps a green lane.

Nonetheless very much liked the non touching sex. The idea of the window between them and him having to come at her request whilst separated. An original and rather good reason for the story.
