Bad in the total number of "I said - she saids" in it. Really interresting plot which begs continuation.

Please drop a lot (and by the way, there ARE two words to "a lot") of the "I saids" and let the story stand on its dialogue.

Each person’s verbal comments need to be in a new paragraph. You don’t put a whole conversation with back and forth comments in one paragraph.
