A truly prestigious parody of "Horton hears a Who", with a few elements mixed up (horton's the fat guy, and such), but, all in all, it's decent English humour.
Thank You!, Anonymous Reader in Romania for your kind praise. As for Horton's tonnage, don't recall what the Doc had to say. Perhaps he wasn't heavy, just drawn that way. But a parody's a parody, never word for word. Thus I morphed the baby roo into a bird. I plead creative license if my cat had no hat. But a ho's still a ho, so let's leave it at that.
It was not my usual cup of tea but I really enjoyed it. Should it have been in poetry?
Thanks, Anonymous in usa, so happy you enjoyed Horton. It's been on the site for almost 2-1/2 years and has under 20,000 hits. If it had been hidden in poetry, it would have gotten 1,000, maybe 2,000. There's some justification for it not being in poetry. The Doc's original was not strictly poetry, but rather, a sing-song children's story.
Thanks for expanding your tea taste.
ive been browsing literotica for about 3 years. i assiduously avoid poetry, even pornographioc. if it hadnt been for this comment on the portal i probably never would have found it. i congratulate you for a really clever bit of material with a delightful tonguie in cheek. so perhaps occasionally when im looking for something delightfully dirty, i will check out the poetry section and look as hard as i would looking to get liad on a weekend night. seriuously, good stuff.
That was awesomely hilarious
I can never read the official version again and not think of this.....LOL
A creative little ditty
A fine little tune
Flo is all happy
And Horton is in a swoon.
