Please tell me the next part won't spend the whole time referring to ""Howard""? You use parentheses once to introduce a term, after that the fact that it is capitalised and that your readers have memory makes it unnecessary. Worse than unnecessary in fact - completely immersion breaking by having the author constantly intrude on the narrative.
