The pace of this is well written, and stands up as a good continuation of the "Photography" story. The slow but inexorable draw of our heroine towards that centre of the inevitable is a well-written tale, the conflicts, the knowing, yet the wanting - so glad this has been written from a female perspective, rather than a male "I fucked my mum" wham-bam story.

As one who has no problems with mutually consensual incest in real life, the son needs to back off and attempt to understand his mother's position. Let her make up her own mind. A mature, considerate son/lover would be concerned about the emotional and psychological well being of his mother/lover. He would also be concerned about the well being of the family unit. The son appears to be a jerk.
