Nice story, and (I guess) the perfect spot to end it---because the next step is for it to blow up and go down the tubes. So the guy has no feelings for his daughter's mom now, or what? Oh, no, wait. Don't tell me: a threesome!

I think you can add another chapter to this if it isn't too late! He has already asked her enough questions to let her know he knew her mom, so the next logical step is for her to know who he is, if she didn't already.
