Or is the protagonist just plain ignorant and what everybody seems to think she is: a slut in waiting. The behavior of the men in this story is so stereotypically 80's before the present laws in the US that I am beginning to think that the author forgot to mention the date of this story. By and large, the protagonist would solve her problems by being forthright with her husband and both of them quitting to go find better jobs with a more supportive atmosphere for both at separate sites. I know the goal is to create conflict for the protagonist, but this is not believable, unless, again she is just as stupid as she is being portrayed. I think the author can do a better job than this. Or at least make more clear, sooner, what direction this story is really going: cheating wife, a real loving wife, or just a dumb wife.

No the normal type of story on this site. Anyway carry on writing.
