My take on your story -- to distinguish it from the many others in which the wife announces her near-uncontrollable need to other men -- is the dynamics of that oh-so-powerful compulsion for "just sex" with other men. They psychology and physiology of what's going on in her that drives her actions, especially given the unequivocal dire warning of the spouse AND the psychologist sister-in-law. You've described a manic compulsion very well, but left out a lot of supporting structure that would make your story more complete and fulfilling to a reader.

A re-write might take some significant effort (research, language, etc.), and it would be a challenge. Is it worth it?
