Some people don't seem to get it

Some people don't seem to get it. The use of local idiom/dialect is a time honored ploy in all fiction. And just what 'is normal'. I'm from the American south and I know hundreds of people who talk just like the people in this story.

Still ya cain't please some people no matter what you do.
