Other people have already pointed out his biggest failure, punishment whilst angry is a massive no, that was preceded by neglecting his sub and neglecting his wife, that they’re the same person only compounds the issue. As for using 3 times the amount of liquid that is normally used for her enema turns it from punishment to abuse.

The thing that Doms ALWAYS seem to neglect is the mindset of a sub. She (in this instance) will punish herself mentally at least twice as much as he will punish her physically. Self loathing and guilt, notice how she moved instantly from miserable and angry to guilt because she saw herself as selfish? She reacted impulsively BUT it happened because of his neglect. So whilst there is some blame on her part by far the largest portion of blame falls on him.
