Like Shyintx, I found the "Good luck Ruth" line rather jarring. Then again, the entire scenario was somewhat implausible, from the casual way Suzy gave up her virginity to Adam (sorry, but even putting just the head of his cock in without consent counts as sexual assault) and then welcomed Peter down the same path, to Ruth's acting as an accessory during what she presumably thought to be Peter raping Suzy.
