I liked your story very much. There were some small problems here and there, but they were only minor things. Overall, a very well thought-out piece that warms the heart and soothes the soul. Lisa and Anna seem to be living people, perhaps semi-biographical. That can make things easy and hard.

You write well and it is great to find a story worth reading. Thank you for your work. If you really are interested in how I think you could improve......... I agree with a previous comment that the ending seemed a little rushed, compared to the great build up. It's good to have a definite and happy ending, but your characters were strong enough for another chapter. Not really interested in a travel log, but maybe how they adjusted to parenthood.

This story still compares very well to most though! Happy to reread and will look out for your other stories.

I love the love story... i don't mind not having a hot steamy sex scene as it wasnt really needed on how the story ended. It was just enough for both to realized that they are Gay!!! One of the stories I read that I gave 5 starts!!!!!

I liked the story, but there was a long build up and a quick ending. When I saw that I was on page 5 and I knew that there was only 6 pages to the story I was worried about what was going to happen. Woosh, this happens, that happens, blat, blat-blat.

Maybe the author has a copy that is 9 or 10 pages long, where the story does not end so quickly with everything crammed together; that is the one I'd like to read.

Loved this story and know that depression drains you to a point that breathing seems worthless. I have been battling nearly my entire life but little works like this help a little.

At least one commenter seems to think this is autobiographical. I admit it does feel a bit autobiographical. And, I suppose, everything we write is a bit autobiographical.

If it is, then I agree with the other commenter: You deserve you happiness (and three+ kids).

Every so often on this site, I read a story and think that it's a new favourite. Well... It's just happened again, I absolutely loved this! The only downside was that it had to end.

What a pity there are not more altruistic people in his world! I am surprised an American author even considers the plight of those less fortunate or in trouble. My experience of americans has them in a totally different light. Shame.

My only criticism is it seemed so fast at the start, they went from saving each other to "I Love You" very quickly, both would have been a bit more reserved after what had happened to each of them, but I suppose love does conquer all!
