A minor note: I've noticed that you seem to be relying on spellcheck to catch any errors. There have been a few points where the wrong word was spelled right, and it disrupted the flow. A quick read through I'm sure would catch these things.

very interesting..i love this story...and how can alice feel exactly what ray is feeling and others...is she an empath or something? or something supernatural? cause she is definitely showing signs...very interesting indeed, can't wait for the next chapter!
