OP didn't do his research. Texas is a "no-fault" state only if both parties agree to a N-F divorce. Yes, adultery is still grounds for divorce and often affects the settlement. Also, companies no longer have "morality rules" if they ever actually did. Instead, they have rules and requirements mandated by local, state, and federal workplace laws and regulations. Also, the chances of her, the subordinate employee, being fired is 0%. Otherwise, she sues the workplace where her supervisor pressured her (OP wrote this) to have sex. I think this is another stereotypical LW story with a little better writing than usual.

Stereotypes:

The plot is juvenile. The dialog is OK to start bur gets worse as the story progresses. It lacked realism. I'm not saying it's impossible for a 48 year old to suddenly start spreading her legs for her boss, but the situation needed to be explained better. The ending felt rushed and lacked realism (6 million bucks for two employees sleeping together is silly). It needed a lot of editing for grammar. I mean a lot of editing. All in all not a very good effort.

A company morals clause applies specifically to the supervision of a company not to fraternize with the employees. It would not have a penalty of terminating the employee where a supervisor was having an affair with that employee. The reason for this is that the supervisor has power over the employee's working environment. Any fraternization especially with a married employee could result in the employer company being used for sexual harassment. If they fired her, she would have a good case for suing the employer. Also note that it would be the wife who could sue the company not the husband. The husband has no standing in this case. Nothing was personally done to him!
