I enjoyed the story, but I am mystified by the vitriolic responses from some people. The story is in the "Incest" category. If you are offended by that subject, why in hell are you reading it? Most people in most societies don't like incest, but NOT all. I spent a lot of time on several Pacific islands during my military career and believe me, incest is quite common in some places. Young girls just past puberty and sometimes before are the sexual playthings for fathers, brothers,uncles and other relatives. Any resultant babies just become another brother or sister. Is that sick? It all depends on your perspective and history.
