Good series. Because I enjoy logically developed stories, for the hell of it, I tried to diagram the family tree. I gave up.

That's the first mention of it being a surprise, the night before the start of spring break. but it's been mentioned for days. If I was Ian I'd still be pissed, he's the Man of the House the only Male of the Coven, he should know what's going on. He should 'put them in their place'!!! If I was him my reply would NOT have been "OK Mom!" it would have been, "well, Mom it's already spoiled, because I made plans with Michelle next week, since no one would tell me I figured I wasn't involved." "And I'm not going to change those plans now it's too late!"
