Some have suggested that this was a setup by the wife to use against her husband but I beg to differ. This was done to get one up on her BFF. Women are as competitive as men just in a different way. She knew her husband well enough to trust he would win the bet for her and she could lord that win over her friend forever. I suspect that she appreciated her husband’s “talent” and technique enough to know her friend might also become jealous.
