I cannot see the point in critiquing someone's work and leaving no way to answer the person , as for the story , i found it a good read , maybe the other reader is a typical American and is not clever enough to work out that your story is written in English not American version of English , American English and U K English are not one and the same the words they use for different things , mean a completely different thing in England , as soon as they realise this the better understanding it will be .
