I liked it. Clever, kind of witty and fun to read. You could have developed it a bit more, but a pretty good effort overall.

Ignore the prat and their lecture, they must live a very sad life, lol. This was a damned good story.

While you're an amazing writer, it was hard to get past your superior knowledge of government, civil infrastructure, and medicine. Whether that's how you feel or whether it was part of the story, it definitely came off way too strong and was a deterrent. On top of that the tone was pretentious and (yes I'm about to say it) I wasn't able to get off on it (why else would I or anybody else be here). Hey, it's not for me, but enough people seemed to enjoy it.
