I don't particularly care for the "Girl's Prison Genre." I can't exactly see that I would do the same thing in that situation so that doesn't help with my getting into this story. Having said that? I do want to see how this unfolds so it was certainly interesting enough to set a hook. Looking forward to the next installment.
