"Thanks," Adrian said softly, wrapping his arms around Nicholas. He felt really cozy and warm in his arms. Adrian loved being in the position that he had found himself in. And he had thought that being on Nicholas' chest was the most beautiful thing. Holding Nicholas and feeling him on his chest was really beautiful to Adrian. He just wanted to stay like that forever.

That was far better than anything sweet to Nicholas, being in Adrian's arms, feeling his beautiful heart beat and his arms were incredibly beautiful. Nicholas loved being in the position that he had found himself in. He felt like he was on cloud 9 already.

"You are so warm," Nicholas said softly, holding on tighter to Adrian. "Thanks for everything."

Adrian smiled and chuckled softly. "I think we've said enough for one night. I love you." He pressed a soft kiss on Nicholas' forehead and held him tighter than before.

"I love you too." Nicholas moaned, enjoying the heat he felt from Adrian's body.

He buried his head further, feeling his eyes get heavy. Though Adrian was still nervous about his meeting the next day, somehow having Nicholas in his arms really helped him a whole lot and he felt his eyes get heavy.

The mood was so beautiful for both guys, enjoying each other's warmth. In no time at all, they were fast asleep.

*****

The next day Adrian found himself on Mr. Bailey's door, shaking and trying to gather his confidence. It seems like yesterday when he had been holding Nicholas and he was now here, exactly at 10 in the morning. In fact, he thought he might have been a little earlier than he intended to but he was still determined to find out the answers so he had sort of expected it. Actually, it was all Nicholas' fault for driving like a mad man simply because he thought that in the world of business, people wouldn't like to be kept wait.

Adrian took a deep breath, feeling his husband's grip tighten on his hand. What was the need to get nervous, he thought, abruptly looking at his hot hunk? Nicholas was dressed in one of the most beautiful blue trousers Adrian had ever seen on him. It was blue, shiny, sparkly and super sexy. The way it showed his hard muscular body was making him hot, shaking from the feeling of having Nicholas' lips on his.

The trouser was accompanied by a bright pink designer's shirt which was folded around the sleeves. He was looking super hot, perfect to the eyes that saw him. Even the crazy secretary downstairs still had the hots for him.

Adrian on the other hand was in a deep blue designer's skinny jean, deep yellow shirt which he had tucked in and white designer's shoes. His hair was still in braids and according to Nicholas, he was super sexy. Well, never believe anything that the hot hunk tells him because he was crazy especially when horny.

Adrian stared at the huge door and then formed his hands into a fist. Without wasting any more time than he had, he extended his hand and knocked. It was not long and he heard the old man's voice from inside telling him to come in. Even from outside, he could clearly hear that the man was still nervous, probably even knew it was him.

"Let's go." Adrian said, opening the door.

He let himself in and it was still magnificent but the old man was not on his chair or table. Adrian froze in the door way till he heard some voices. He looked in the direction of the voices and saw them, four men and they were all smartly dressed. There was no need to get nervous like Nicholas had told him but he couldn't help it.

"Mr. Miller," Bailey said nervously. "Please join us here."

Nicholas smiled and then walked confidently towards the gentle men that were seated on the couches in the living room like place. And he had thought they were all old men. There was also a younger man just a little by age to Nicholas...at least that's how he looked. But either way, Adrian didn't care as long he got the answers.

Nearing the living room, Adrian could clearly see a large box which was on the huge table. He had no idea what was in it but he was hoping to find something useful in his quest.

"Mr. Miller," All the gentle men said, standing up to give him hand shake. They all seemed like fans of Nicholas but as usual, Nicholas couldn't let the time slip away. He introduced Adrian again to them but they still seemed nervous to Adrian and he knew the reason why.

"Thank you so much for coming." Mr. Bailey said, signaling the both of them to sit. He had a serious look on his face and seemed nervous and worried at the same time.

"No," Nicholas said, sitting his big ass down. "We are really thankful for trying to help us out."

"Alright," Mr. Bailey started. "We had an emergency meeting yesterday and I discussed whatever it was that you told me with them. Now I know you are famous but I hope you are..."

"Mr. Bailey," Nicholas chuckled nervously. "I am an honest business man and I don't get involved in matters like that. Why would I come all the way from the capital to waste your time?"

"Forgive me," Mr. Bailey apologized, rubbing his itching hands. He then began introducing the other board members to him and the younger guy was new and just wanted to be part of the meeting. There were about 3 younger others who weren't present.

"Actually we would really like to thank you." One of the old members said. "This company has not been the same without an heir. If what you say is true and he is confirmed to the true heir then we'll be the happiest people in the world."

"I got what you asked." Mr. Bailey said. Every photo that was stored was found. It is in that box. Please, take a good look and tell us about it. We are really hoping that we find the heir so that the company can get back on its first original position."

As soon as Mr. Bailey had mentioned the word 'photos,' Adrian had his eyes on that huge box which would probably tell him the truth. He knew his mother couldn't have lied so he was hoping for the best. His heart was pounding in chest and he was suddenly trembling. This was the day he had come for in the city. After opening that box he was gonna find out the truth, hopefully.

Adrian slightly moved from the couch, eyeing that big box on the table. Then with a deep sigh, he stared at the nervous looking faces of the board members.

"May I?" He asked.

They all nodded at the same time and it was not long before he found himself kneeling in front of the table with shaky hands. The evidence to help him find the truth was right in front of him but he couldn't help but be nervous. He hadn't been as nervous as he was before. He was just hoping for it to be the truth.

Taking a deep breath, Adrian grabbed the box and ripped it open. In it were documents, photo frames with photos and other things from awards to letters and everything else. It was just too much so he took the box and emptied everything on the floor. Then he looked at the faces of the men that couldn't stop staring at him and apologized for the mess that he had caused. They just nodded and he began diving in.

"I think I might need your help." Adrian said softly to Mr. Bailey.

Mr. Bailey quickly got up and knelt down with him. He wasn't gonna start with the photos but with name of the last owner of the company. He needed some sort of document which had all names. That was his ticket to finding out if the owner was actually Jack Luther Wilson though the name was not there.

"Err...is there a certain document which has all his names."

"Err..." The man stammered, searching on the heaps of documents that were on that pile. It might have taken quite longer than Adrian had expected but in no time the man was handing a certain document to him. "This is the document which showed everything including how his name was registered when he took over the company."

Slightly shaking from curiosity and fear, Adrian took the document in his hand and then had his eyes on them the very moment they arrived in his hand. Looking at them, he felt tears building in his eyes and then he gave out a chuckle. His hunch had been right, his grandfather was the owner of the company. It said that Jack Luther Wilson took over the company about 35 years ago.

Hmm, Adrian couldn't help but feel happy and confused at the same time. He was related to the company after all and there was no need for any proof. He might have been staring at the document for quite some time as he felt Nicholas' hand on his shoulder. He looked past his shoulder and saw his hunk looking at him with worry.

"I was right," Adrian chirped, showing the document to Nicholas. "He's Jack Wilson after all but names are similar. I need to find a picture..." He said, moving his eyes around to the picture frames that were on the floor.

Adrian began searching among the frames, looking at each picture to see if he could find what he was looking for. But what he saw were just pictures of Jack who was probably his grandfather. After searching for quite a while, Adrian took one last frame that left him in tears. He couldn't help it but his heart melted just like ice. He couldn't stifle his tears and they came flushing right out, wetting his beautiful face.

What he saw had him broken down. It was a picture of his grandfather and two of his sons, Todd and his father. He got emotional and even though the both of them seemed really young, Adrian could tell because he had seen the pictures of his father when he was young.

"Are you okay?" Nicholas said, rubbing Adrian's back to comfort him.

He was heartbroken after seeing Adrian in the mood that he was in. He couldn't help but feel tears forming in his eyes and when the boy looked at him...he literally broke down. But he chose to be the man and grasped Adrian's head. Then he brought him closer to his chest and wrapped his arms with so much love, rubbing his head.

"Is he okay?" One of the board members asked, concerned with what he saw.

"He's fine," Nicholas said with a nervous smile.

"She was right." Adrian sobbed softly, holding the picture close to his heart while he moved his other hand on Nicholas' chest. "She didn't lie at all."

"What's going on here?" Bailey asked in a confused voice. "I thought we were supposed to be..."

"Please," Nicholas said softly, getting up with Adrian. "Can you give us a minute?"

The board members nodded in agreement and Nicholas left with Adrian at a distance where no one could hear them. He quickly rubbed Adrian's tears off. Then he planted a hot kiss on his lips to help him calm down completely. He hated the fact that Adrian had broken down in front of those men. Maybe coming to the company had been such a bad idea after all.

"Why are you breaking my heart?" Nicholas breathed, wiping Adrian's face with his muscular hand. "I thought you told me...uh-huh, you promised you'd never cry again."

"I couldn't help it." Adrian said, trying to stifle his sobs. "I get emotional easily and you know it."

"Okay, fine." Nicholas raised his hands as if surrendering. "Can you tell me what it was that made you cry like that? You were just..."

"This," Adrian raised the frame for Nicholas to see. When Nicholas looked at the photo all he saw were the man who owned the company and two boys who seemed young. He couldn't get the reason why Adrian had cried because of them or could...his heart began pounding when he actually thought about it. The young boy on the left looked so much like Todd and the other younger boy was probably...Adrian's father. He had cried because he saw his father and...it got him emotional when he actually thought about it.

"I'm sorry," Nicholas apologized, planting a hot kiss on his lips. Then he held him closer and hugged him tightly, shielding him with his big and powerful arms.

Nicholas' heart suddenly began pounding...there was blooding rushing through his ear...his eyes widened and he began trembling when he actually thought about what it meant. It meant that Adrian could be the next Equilinias. His mother had actually told him the truth. He was really happy for Adrian.

"What next?" Nicholas asked, squeezing Adrian's shoulder. "Are you gonna tell them about...you being the heir?"

"No!" Adrian's voice was barely above a whisper. "At least not yet,"

"Why?" Nicholas said. "You should tell them..."

"Do you know what this means?" Adrian asked. He felt angry when he actually thought about growing up in poverty when his grandfather had left a fortune. How could his father have lied to him about everything?

"No!" Nicholas rolled his eyes. "What does it mean?"

"It means that my father lied when he told me that my grandfather used to be poor. It also means that the companies that Todd has probably belonged to my father. I wonder why I grew up in poverty when grandpa had this company. It just doesn't make any sense."

"Yeah," Nicholas said in a curious tone. "This is not just adding up."

"And this also means that Todd knew about everything from the start." He said softly. He had no idea why he was getting angry. "I just wanna know why..."

"He didn't take over the company." Nicholas chimed in. He was even wondering the same.

"I want us to go there and pretend as if we don't know anything that had happened. I want answers because this just got more complicated."

Adrian was right with every word that he said. The truth of the matter was that even though he had found out about everything, the matter had just taken a turn for the worst as he still had lots of questions. Right then he wasn't even concerned about being an heir. He wanted answers and he was gonna get them from the board members.

In a few minutes, Adrian was calm but he still held on to the picture with all his mighty. They went back to the couches and sat on the confidently. Sitting on the couch, Adrian stared at all the board members and took a deep breath.

"I now know who the heir is." Adrian said confidently.

"Really," All board members sighed.

"Yes," He said softly. "But I need answers from you."

"What?" Bailey asked softly. "We are ready to answer all your questions as long as you tell us where we can find him."

"Good!" Adrian said, looking at his husband. "Why didn't anyone take over the company? From what I know Mr. Jack had two children so..."

"It's more complicated than that." One of the old men said softly. "Equilinias isn't just a company where anyone can just enter. The truth is, we might be happy about finding out about the heir but our happiness is only half."

"Half?" Adrian exclaimed. "What do you mean?"

Mr. Bailey sighed. "Before anyone can take over the company, he must undergo a full DNA test with several different hospitals and it must be done with full inspection by the court. Only when the DNA which was left matches will he be allowed to take over. I don't know what happened to the children because only the lawyer has that information. None of the board members knows about anything else apart from what I have told you. Though I have heard that there was one a long time who tried but he couldn't do anything because the DNA couldn't match.

"DNA," Adrian gasped, now getting more confused. "I don't get it."

"Alright," one of the old men said. "Instead of a will like others do, the last Equilinias left a DNA sample for some reason. Everyone, including the person you are talking about must undergo that DNA test. Only if it matches...will he take over."

By the time the board of directors was getting finished, Adrian had his mouth wide open. He couldn't find the words to use with the information that he had gotten. It was all so confusing and he had no idea what to do. Why did his grandfather leave a DNA instead of just a will? Wouldn't that create confusions among the children or maybe...one of them was not his child.

"You mean my grandfather actually left a DNA sample instead of a will?"

"Wait, what?" Mr. Bailey gasped. "What do you mean your grandfather?"

Adrian took a deep breath and sighed. "Yes!" He said softly. "My name is Adrian Wilson and I am the grandson of Jack Luther Wilson."

All the board members had their eyes on Adrian, openly staring at him. None of them uttered a word and from the look of things, they were all shocked after finding out about it. None of them could believe it. They even had some hint of happiness in that shocking expression. Adrian could see past that.

"How...How..." Bailey stuttered, sounding as if he was running out of breath. "Are you sure of what you are saying."

"You can conduct a DNA on me and you can compare it with the one from my grandfather." Adrian said softly. "I just wanna know everything that had happened and the reason why none of his children were able to take control of this company."

"The only one who can give that information is the lawyer. We are limited when it comes to that information. Unfortunately, the lawyer is not in the country." Bailey apologized, dropping his eyes to the floor. "He had gone to a very important company meeting on legal matters. I actually talked to him about what you said and he said he would do everything to come back as early as he can."

Adrian was also confused of one thing. Nicholas had explained to him but it was confusing him. "Wait! Without the president of the company, how do you guys handle this place? Is there a vice president or..."

"No!" From the voice and the look Adrian got from the board of directors, he could tell that they were still shocked. "As board of directors we manage every contract after agreeing but that is under the supervision of the courts, especially the lawyer. Every transaction made is closely monitored by the court so that no funny businesses are done. Nothing like bribery or corruption can ever happen in our company. That is why no one, as much as he tries can take over. This is a large business empire which operates on its own. Without investors we have been able to stand on our own but it hasn't been the same without an heir.

"If so then..." Adrian tried to clear his voice which was suddenly sounding hoarse. "...how do you..."

"There is an account which we have access to but only the court which is linked to this company can issue the signature. They make sure all the money needed for production is available and we still sale a lot and make more profit. We use some of that money for production and the rest goes into a bank account, monitored closely by the highest court in Belenia. That account can only be accessed by the heir and no one else. We have only been given access to one account and that is the one we use for paying employees. And..."

"What would happen if you do not find an heir?" Adrian was really curious about all that. "What happens if I am not the heir and you never ever find an heir?"

Mr. Bailey looked at the other members and sighed. He seemed sad after that question. And so did the rest of the board. "All I know is that the lawyer has all the information about what will be done. He has a will, if in case that happens. It's why I suggested you wait until he comes back."

"When is that?" Adrian was nervous. He felt like he couldn't wait anymore. He just wanted to get it over with once and for all.

"Probably next week,"

"I don't think I can stay that long." Adrian said softly. "I have a family and I need to go back to them soon."

"Why don't you leave your number with us?" Bailey suggested. "The lawyer will possibly give you a call and meet you. He'll give you all the details and probably take your sample."

"That's a good idea." Adrian said softly.

Then he left his number with them and left as quickly as he could after hearing their views. Some even gave him a hug and told him he had his grandfather's eyes. He was at least happy that he had found out the truth. There were still many questions that were ringing in his head and the only person that could answer them was the good lawyer. He couldn't wait for a week to end so that he could meet the lawyer and find his answers.
